There are many reports that American Idol is still trying to
save it’s steadily decreasing ratings by asking Jennifer Lopez to return as a
celebrity judge.
It has unofficially been stated that the show has offered to
pay Jennifer Lopez a whopping 15 million dollars to come back, and they had
even tried to get her to come back last season to replace Mariah Carey after Ms. Carey’s presence failed to
pull in the ratings the show had predicted it would.
This means that both Mariah and Nicki Minaj would both be
out, which to many fans of the show, is not something to cry about. J.Lo will
join Keith Urban on the judges panel, which leaves one remaining seat to be
filled.
