Hello my beautiful peeps!
I just wanted to drop a quick note and let you know that although my blog writing has slowed down a bit this week, I hope to be writing more very soon. I just started at my community college and they are all online classes, so it has taken me a little while to get the hang of it and get to where I know where everything in for each class. I am taking four classes and none of them are formatted exactly the same on the college website. But I think for the most part I got it down. And I've figured out a good system for keeping my self organized. As long as this all works out I shouldn't need to spend extra time searching my class site for what I am looking for.
That being said, please look for some new posts coming soon. And, as always, if you hear of or know of any up and coming bands that you want to see a video posted on our Music Video's page, just let me know. Same thing if you'd like me to do a review. Just let me know where I can find their band info and I'll take it from there.

Hi All!

Thanks for stopping by. Just wanted to leave a quick note...You will notice some changes around here as I update my blogging format. As it turns out (and I don't know why it's only dawning on me know), but I'm going to be focusing mostly on music. There will still be celebrity posts,  just in a different section of my blog titled Celeb Stories.

For now, my home page will be titled Rock~It Reviews. Check it out and you guys will know what it's all about.

As always, if you have any suggestions or want to see a video posted, just post in the comment section at the bottom of the Music Video's page.

I just want to let you all know that I put serious thought (as serious as possible depending on the post) into my blogs. They can take me anywhere up to two hours to get it just right. Not just the wording, but the layout, and the overall smoothness of the design. So, please know, that when I say how very appreciative I am that some of you are taking the time to read them, I am very serious. I know the "pain in the neck" it can be to move to another screen. So for my peeps out there that are taking the time, I love you!

Today my real-life day was very productive  :) Had to drag the kids out to two different stores, see a friend, and drop off a sample of my graphic workup for a birthday invitation.

My blog-life, on the other hand, not so much. But sometimes you just have to have a week-end day where you absolutely have to go out of the house!  Blah! LOL It wasn't bad though. Aaaand on a good note...I may just be making a little bit of cash from an unexpected  side business.  Oh ya!  :)

I wanted to tell you all a little about myself and the kind of things I  like and why I'm doing a celebrity blog. I have  always had a fascination with the rich and famous. Even when I was a kid I would climb up our big tree with my walk man AM/FM radio and daydream about being a rich, famous singer.  I was drawn to the idea of having a  lifestyle where  you can do anything you want and not have to worry about your bills. THAT is what attracts me! But, since my childhood dream was intercepted by adulthood reality I didn't get to be a famous singer :P So, for me it's kind of fun to live vicariously through them.

For example, I'll never get to visit Richard Branson's Necker Island, but I know Mariah was there when I got a tour of it via MTV's Cribs. Awesome! I could so imagine myself laying on that bed with those curtains billowing in the wind, friends surrounding me, having a fun, amazing time! It would be such an excellent adventure! I see pictures of Nicole Ritchie in an online article on her  fantastic trip to France...on a Tuesday! I'm like, UGH! She's so lucky!  Yes, I would love to do that! Thank you very much.

It's those type of stories that I find myself drawn to. So, I thought, since I'm always browsing stories about famous people, maybe I could try my hand at blogging. I've always liked writing, and when I was younger I wrote a lot. Mostly short stories or monologues for my friends in drama class. But that was creative writing and I've never done anything like this.

I got my handle, Betwixt & Between, while I was  creating another blog (which I have since deleted). I really wanted to find something that was catchy, but would also be a fairly good representation of myself. While searching the web I came across the definition for betwixt and between in the Merriam-Webster online dictionary. The definition is  : in a midway position : neither one thing nor the other. I thought that was very fitting for me personally, and if you know me personally, you might understand. But also, a great name for a blog where I would put up a mish-mash of information about all the different stories and ideas that I come up with.
