Justin Defends Miley

Everyone seems to be in an uproar over the Miley Cyrus VMA performance. Most of you know that I like Miley. I know that she's a bit wild, but I think she's got talent, and I think she's got style. When I started noticing these negative comments about her performance, I had to roll my eyes. I thought, "Well, yeah, that figures." But not in the way you might think.

Hearing that she had "offended" people didn't surprise me at all. No one can ever give this girl a break!  Her new song is awesome even if you don't like the video. And if you had seen the video you would have known that her performance was obviously based on that video. I mean, come on people, she wouldn't have a top ten single with that song if it wasn't well liked. And guess what? Because of her VMA performance she now has TWO singles in the top five on iTunes.

So, I was happy when I learned that Justin Timberlake (hottie) agreed with me ;) and came to Miley's defense. Guest starring on a New York radio station shortly after the VMA's Justin was asked what he thought about the racy performance.

"I like Miley." he said. "I like her a lot. I think, you know, she's young. She's letting everybody know that she's growing up."

Exactly people! Let the girl grow and discover herself!

Justin goes on to say "It's the VMAs. You know what I mean, like, it's not the Grammys," he said. "We're talking about Madonna in a wedding dress humping the stage, we're talking about Britney doing a striptease. This cycle is not uncommon," adding, "If something like that doesn't happen at the VMAs, I feel like it was boring."

YES! The man who just won the Micheal Jackson Video Vanguard Award defends Miley Cyrus. And I pretty much agree. She's young, she's famous, she can get away with it. It doesn't make her a skank, it doesn't make her a slut, it makes her RICH. And, in my opinion, I think she's got quite a voice. Not only that, you can tell she's very driven. You have to give a girl a break! Go Miley!

Will John Marry Katy?

There are some rumors floating around out there that John Mayer just may have found his true lady love. Could it be true? The notorious serial dater who has dated many celebrity ladies, including Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, and of course Taylor Swift, has been sneaking around asking Katy's friends how he should propose to Katy. Is it true that John is finally smitten?

According to one close friend, "John has been asking Katy’s friends tons of questions, like what kind of engagement ring she would want and what the best way to propose would be,” the source told Life & Style Magazine. “They’ve been so serious about each other ever since they got back together (this past June)."

 I don't know if he is serious, but if he is, and they last, it will blow my mind! What do you guys think?

The moment many have been waiting for. Kanye West has shown the very first picture of his and Kim's new baby, little Nori. Kanye went on Kris Jenner's talk show's season finale and surprised everyone when he allowed this picture of the adorable little girl on television.

Sure made me feel good to know that they didn't end up selling photo's of North for money. Kanye also went on to say how much he loves Kim and he doesn't care what any media outlet or blog has to say. He has received a lot of flack for dating the controversial celebrity, but he just doesn't care. He loves Kim and now he has North.

I think little Nori is adorable. What do you think?

Man Found Living in Jennifer Lopez's Home.

A 49-year-old man from Rhode Island was caught living in the pool house of Jennifer Lopez's 3 acre home, Water Mills, located in the Hamptons. Workers called the police when they noticed the intruders presence on the property. Ms Lopez was not staying at the home at the time. Reports say that the man had been there for six days. When approached by police and security he told them that he was J. Lo's ex-husband and the father or her children. He is currently under psychiatric evaluation.

Lopez field a order of protection against John Dubis of Rhode Island. Dubis is scheduled to appear in court August 28th to face charges of of burglary, criminal contempt, stalking and possession of burglar tools.

  Ben Affleck to play Batman.

I have always loved Ben Affleck. He hasn't always had the best movies, but there is just something about him that has me constantly rooting for him. Maybe it's his handsome, perfectly shaped face (you think?) or the fact that Jennifer Garner fell in love with him, but something gives me this profound respect for the guy. (I have that same respect for Ms. Garner.) The only time I kinda was like 'eh' was when he started dating Jennifer Lopez. (Yeah, probably jealous!) But that ended quickly, so no biggie. :)

So I was very intrigued to hear that Ben will be playing the new Batman in the upcoming Superman "Man of Steel" sequel. President of Creative Development and Worldwide Production at Warner Bros. Gregg Silverman released the following statement earlier today,      

“We knew we needed an extraordinary actor to take on one of DC Comics’ most enduringly popular Super Heroes, and Ben Affleck certainly fits that bill, and then some. His outstanding career is a testament to his talent and we know he and Zack will bring new dimension to the duality of this character.”

I don't know about you but I am totally excited to see how he does. I hope the movie is well written to begin with. What do you all think? Ben as Batman? Yay or Nay?

Baby North West Steps Out

Hey, look. Kim and Kanye were spotted out and about with baby North, who was shielded from the paparazzi by layers of blankets. They couple was spotted on an outing in Los Angeles, bringing along a little help for the baby lifting. North West was born June 15th, 2013 and this is the first and only peek we've had at the little darling, though she is completely covered and there's really nothing to see!

It seems almost everyone (and I put that in there so those who could care less won't have to say "I don't care'") wants to see what their new little  princess looks like. I for one hope she's really stinkin' adorable, and has Kim's looks! ;)

I also have to say, that I find myself impressed, that so far they have kept their new born out of the press. And if they continue to do that and not make money off of the birth of their child, I will most definitely have a little more respect for both of them.

I wonder at what age we will finally get to see the little tyke. No, it's not life-stopping, all important information to know, but it's fun. Fun? Oh yeah. Fun. The whole reason I'm doing this thing! :)

Amanda Bynes Moved To UCLA Medical Center

Amanda Bynes mother has had Amanda transferred to UCLA Medical Center, due to her continuing psychiatric problems. UCLA is known for having one of the best psychiatric facilities in the country. Sources say that Amanda would have been transfered ealier but there were no beds available.


Amanda was covered by a blanket as she was transferred from one facility to the other this morning. Doctor's continue to perform test, as Amanda has shown signs of schizophrenia. It seems, that whatever her doctors have been doing is slowly working. Amanda was reported to be crying on two differnt occasion, due to being scared about her court dates. Her doctors see this as a break-through, since she is showing emotions, which is not something that many schizophrenics do.

We will continue to keep you updated on this situation as we continue to hope and pray for the best

'That 70's Show' Star Dies.

Terribley sad news today regarding former 'That 70's Star' Lisa Robbin Kelly. We have just learned that Ms. Kelly, who had checked herself into a drug rehabilitaion center earlier this week, has passed away in her sleep, do to the complications her body faced during recovery. Many know of the past addicition that Lisa dealt with. She was even released for a short time from 'That 70's Show' due to her drug problems.

You remember the Forman's from FOX's smash hit 'That 70's Show'. And how can you not remember the sibling rivalry between brother and sister Eric and Laurie? Laurie was so good at tormenting her little brother, and making out with his friends. She was the "wild child" of the Forman family. It's just too bad, it went beyond what was written for her in the show.

An autopsy has not yet been performed and a death certificate has not yet been issued. A spokesman for the rehab center told E News!, "Unfortunately Lisa Robin Kelly passed away last evening. Lisa had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility early this week where she was battling the addiction problems that have plagued her these past few years. I spoke to her on Monday and she was hopeful and confident, looking forward to putting this part of her life behind her. Last night she lost the battle."

Lisa had many run ins with the law, including being charged with a DUI.

We are sincerly saddened by this news, always hoping that she would pull herself together. We never in a million years figured this is where the beautiful blonde would end up.

Kristen Stewart Heads Back to School

There are stories circulating all over the web that Kristen Stewart, of the Twilight series, has enrolled at the prestige Southern California university, UCLA.

It has been reported that Kristen has enrolled in an English literature course, where she will be using UCLA's distance learning program. This will help Ms. Stewart complete her course while still being able to keep up with her "day job".

A closer insider has reported to Vouge Magazine, "She is already considering a life after film. She never got to complete college and she wants to get a proper education," said a source, according to tabloid reports. "She is a voracious reader and cannot wait to get going on her correspondence course. It won't be easy and it will mean putting in some fairly strenuous hours. But once she's graduated, Kristen will be able to do almost anything she wants, in or out of Hollywood."

 I think, good for her! Kristen joins one of the many celebs that have gone on to continue with their higher education, including the likes of Emma Watson and Dakota Fanning.

Simon Cowell Love Triangle?

As it turns out, Simon Cowell was dating Carmen Electra for about six months before she caught Mr. Cowell and Lauren Silverman red handed at Simon's home. According to an insider who spoke with E! News, "Carmen was at Simon's house in L.A. when she literally busted him with Lauren. Simon called her a friend, but there was nothing platonic about what was going on, if you know what I mean." The source went on to say that Carmen "high-tailed it out of there. There was no way she was going to stick around and be a third wheel."

But this was months and months ago, and now, as most of you know, Simon is about to become a parent with his new girlfriend Lauren Silverman. And that is anther love triangle, as Lauren was married to Simon's longtime friend Andrew Silverman. Mr. Silverman even names Simon Cowell as a co-respondant in his divorce case.

Carmen on the other hand, has no ill feelings towards Cowell. She recently responded to questions from reporters about Simon during her 2013 Do Something Awards. She graciously went on to say, "I'm so happy for him!" the former Baywatch babe said enthusiastically. "What I witnessed working with him on Britain's Got Talent and coming to see him during X Factor is that the people he truly believes in, he stands up for them and supports them. So I obviously think that his child will be very well taken care and very, very loved. I'm going to call him as soon as I get in the car after the event," Electra added. "I want to know if it's a boy or a girl. It's awesome, I'm super happy for him."

What do you all think about this whole situation with Simon/Lauren/Andrew? Seems pretty messed up to me! At least Carmen Electra doesn't seem to have a problem as she wishes them nothing but the best.
