New Miley Cyrus Video Causes Quite A Stir

It 's no doubt, when it comes to Miley Cyrus, you either hate her or love her. Since the end of her days playing Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel, Miss Cyrus has been flaunting her independence and individuality, showing the world who she really is. And quit frankly, I like it. She's fierce to the core and not afraid to show it.

The new  Miley Cyrus video for her #1 single We Can't Stop is getting lots of flack for being so provocative, and I, even being the Miley fan that I am, can understand why. It's not that "in your face, we rule the world" attitude of the song but the provocative dancing and sexual innuendos that go along with the video. Miley and dancers can be seen tweerking, and often Miley is on a bed, rear in the air. I will admit, it is a sexy video, and Miley does have sex appeal, but for her younger fans, it is quite inappropriate. 

 

Miley shouldn't forget how impressionable her original audience is, and how they are the reason for her initial stardom. Or perhaps she doesn't care about her young fans. I'm not saying that's the truth, but it seems that she wasn't thinking about them when making this video.

Over all, I love the song. The video, while hot, is not something I would view over and over. Although I am sure there are plenty fans (uh hmm, men) that will be happy to view it again.
